Asylum interviews may also take place at the Atlanta or Montgomery field offices. Sources: USCIS and the Executive Office for Immigration Review.
What USCIS and the Atlanta Immigration Courts Ask For
Whether you file online or bring papers to an interview on Park Lake Drive, the USCIS rule is the same. Under 8 CFR 103.2(b)(3), each foreign-language document needs a full English translation. The translator certifies that it is complete and accurate and that they are competent to translate.
The two Atlanta immigration courts follow 8 CFR 1003.33. A foreign-language filing must include an English translation and a certification signed by the translator about competence and accuracy. The Immigration Court Practice Manual adds that the certification must be typed and must give the translator's address and phone number.
Each certificate we issue gives the translator's name, signature, date, address and phone number, so it covers what the Practice Manual requires. Read more on USCIS certified translation, or see legal translation for police records and court judgments.

For a Gwinnett license, tell us before you order. Gwinnett wants the notary to be someone other than the translator, and notarization is available on request, so contact us first. Gwinnett also accepts passports and immigration papers as proof of age.
DeKalb and Gwinnett ask for a translation by a certified translator, so tell us the court when you order. Fulton asks for a certified English translation of a foreign birth certificate. Fulton's Records Division also sells certified copies of Fulton marriage certificates by mail for $10 per copy, paid by money order.
If you married abroad, your foreign certificate with a marriage certificate translation is what USCIS sees.
