Fast and reliable
Italian to English for my police record. I needed it for New Zealand immigration. They even added a translator's affidavit. Very professional. I will use them again.
Certified translations prepared for USCIS, UKVI, IRCC, and ECFMG submissions. One service, four immigration authorities, with a signed Certificate of Accuracy on every translated page.
We translate documents for the four most common immigration authorities: USCIS for U.S. immigration, UKVI for UK visas, IRCC for Canadian immigration, and ECFMG for foreign medical graduate certification. Each authority has its own document standards and certification rules, and USCIS sets out its evidence and translation guidance in its Policy Manual chapter on evidence and translations.

The standards we apply across all four authorities, on every order.
No machine translation, no AI tools. Every translation is prepared by a fluent human translator.
A dated, signed certificate is attached to every translated document, formatted for the relevant authority.
Every visible mark on the original document is translated. Nothing is summarized, nothing is left out.
Tables, field labels, and date formats mirror the original to allow side-by-side review by the adjudicating officer.
Sensitive personal documents are uploaded over an encrypted channel and stored in restricted-access servers.
Free revisions are included for 14 days after delivery; after that, a small revision fee applies. If an authority rejects the translation because of a translation problem, send us the notice for a full refund.
A birth certificate for an I-130 petition, a marriage certificate for a UKVI spouse visa, an academic transcript for IRCC Express Entry, and a medical diploma for ECFMG certification all get the same standard from Pro Translation Service.
All four authorities require a complete English translation with a signed statement from the translator. Their rules differ on who can translate, what the translator must disclose, and whether anything must be sworn or notarized. The table below summarizes the practical differences. The note underneath explains when a translation prepared for one authority will also work for another.

| Who can translate | A full English translation with the translator's certification of completeness, accuracy and competence. The applicant or a relative may do it, but an independent professional is the safer choice. | A translator or company who confirms the translation is accurate and gives name, signature, date and contact details. Leave to remain and ILR need a qualified translator with credentials. | A certified translator (member in good standing of a professional translation association in Canada or abroad), or any translator with a sworn affidavit. Never the applicant, family or a representative. | A government official, medical school official or professional translation service. Not the applicant. |
| Self-certification by applicant | Allowed if the translator certifies competence | Not barred by the rules, but leave to remain and ILR need a qualified translator | Not allowed | Not allowed |
| Translator credentials shown on translation | Signature, printed name, date and contact information, plus the competence statement | Accuracy confirmation, date, full name and signature, contact details, and credentials for leave to remain and ILR | Translator name, certification body, member number (if applicable), or the affidavit | Translator name, qualifications, signed Certificate of Accuracy |
| Notarization required | No | No | No, if a certified translator does the work. Otherwise an affidavit sworn before an authorized person is required, inside or outside Canada. | No |
| Stamps, seals, handwritten notes translated | Yes, all visible content | Yes, all visible content | Yes, including reverse-side seals and marginalia | Yes, all visible content |
| Certificate of Accuracy required | Yes, signed statement | Yes, with translator credentials | Yes, signed statement or affidavit | Yes, signed Certificate of Accuracy |

A practical takeaway from the table: A translation prepared for one authority will not always work for another. The direction matters.
IRCC has the most distinct rule. Use a certified translator, or, if the translator is not certified, attach an affidavit sworn before an authorized person. This works inside and outside Canada. The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) is run by the Government of Ontario, not IRCC, and asks applicants in Ontario to use an ATIO-certified translator where one is available.
When you apply to more than one authority, order translations to the strictest standard you need, and the same files should suit the others. Every translation we prepare has a signed Certificate of Accuracy. Check IRCC's affidavit rule and ECFMG's translator rule before you reuse files. See our refund policy for the guarantee terms.

As of October 2026, prices, turnaround times, and feature claims are taken directly from each provider's own website. "Not offered separately" means the provider does not list a standalone price for that item or does not offer it as a separate add-on. All guarantee descriptions reflect each provider's published terms. Policies can change; we recommend checking directly with the provider before ordering. For the official USCIS translation requirement under 8 CFR § 103.2(b)(3), see the Code of Federal Regulations.
Certified English translations prepared to each authority's rules. The languages we translate most often for immigration files are listed below.
Your language is not shown? Send us your document and destination, and we will confirm coverage and quote before you pay.
Whatever the visa, the translation rules come from the authority deciding it. Our visa translation services prepare certified translations of the supporting documents each authority asks for: civil records, police certificates, bank statements, employment letters and school records. Need it fast? Rush translation delivers in 12 hours. For US state rules and local immigration courts, see translation services by state.
Credential evaluators are not immigration authorities, but their reports often go into the same application. Canada's Express Entry, for example, asks for an Educational Credential Assessment, and World Education Services is one of the designated providers. US universities, employers and licensing boards also ask for evaluations. Each evaluator has its own translation rules, covered on our WES translation and ECE translation pages.
