Standard Translation Services (Non-Certified)
Professional, human translation for business and personal content that does not need certification. Natural, fluent, and delivered in an editable format, from $0.05 per word.
Standard translation is our professional, non-certified service for content where clarity and natural fluency matter more than legal certification, things like business reports, marketing, websites, and personal documents. Translated by human linguists, delivered in editable formats like Word, across 100+ languages, from $0.05 per word, with delivery within 24 hours for short texts. If a government office or court will receive the document, choose certified translation instead.
What Is Standard Translation?
Standard translation is ideal when you need content accurately translated without formal certification. It is perfect for business and personal documents where clarity, consistency, and accuracy matter, but a certificate is not required.
We deliver your translation in an editable format like DOCX, so you can adjust it freely. Need a special format such as PowerPoint or Illustrator? Just let us know and we will handle it.
- Human translators, never machine output
- Editable delivery (Word, PDF, PowerPoint, and more)
- Free revisions for 14 days after delivery
- Confidential and encrypted handling
What Standard Translation Covers
Standard translation is a full, human translation of your text into the language you choose. A professional translator reads the whole document, translates it sentence by sentence, and then adjusts wording so that it sounds natural to a reader in the target language. A second linguist reviews the result for errors and omissions before we send it to you.
The aim is a text that reads as if it had been written in the new language. That is different from a certified translation, where the aim is a faithful, exact copy of an official document with a signed statement that it is complete and accurate. With standard translation the translator can choose the natural phrase over the literal one, keep your brand voice, and keep terminology consistent from the first page to the last.
Typical projects include:
- Company documents such as annual reports, policies, proposals, and employee handbooks
- Marketing material such as brochures, product descriptions, newsletters, and ad copy
- Web pages and app text that you plan to publish in another language
- User guides, safety sheets, and technical instructions for staff or customers
- Letters, emails, and personal records you need to understand, not file with an authority
- Course notes, articles, and research summaries for study or internal use

How to Get the Best Result
A few details you give us at the start make the translation closer to what you need:
- Say who will read it. A text for customers needs a different tone from an internal memo or a research summary.
- Name the variety of English. Tell us if you need US spelling, such as "color" and "center", or another variety.
- Send reference material. A glossary, a list of product names, or an earlier translation helps us keep your terms the same everywhere.
- Mark what stays untranslated. Brand names, slogans, and legal entity names are often kept in the original language.
- Upload the final version. Changes made after translation starts can add words and cost.
After delivery, read the file once and send us any corrections within 14 days after delivery. Free revisions are included for that period, and we update the same file rather than starting again.
How Per-Word Pricing Adds Up
Standard translation costs $0.05 per word, and the price is the same for every language. The cost depends on the length of your text, not on how many pages it fills. Some examples:
- A 500-word email or short letter: $25
- A 1,000-word brochure or article: $50
- A 5,000-word manual or report: $250
- A 20,000-word handbook: $1,000
Your quote shows the total before you pay, so you can compare it with other options. If a large project is made of many files, upload them together so that terminology stays consistent across all of them.
File Formats You Can Upload and Receive
You can upload the files you already have. Word documents (DOC and DOCX), PDF files, and PowerPoint presentations are the most common. A clear scan or photo of a paper page also works, as long as every word can be read.
We return your translation as an editable Word file unless you ask for another format. That lets your team change a sentence, update a price, or paste the text into a design without asking us. We can also deliver PDF or PowerPoint files on request. If your content is in a spreadsheet, a web page export, or a design file, tell us before you order and we will confirm how we can deliver it.
Because the translated text is usually longer or shorter than the original, page breaks and line lengths can change. If the final layout matters, for example in a brochure or a slide deck, tell us when you order. Design and layout work is available on request.
What Standard Translation Does Not Include
Standard translation is the right choice only when no authority will read your document. It does not include:
- A signed Certificate of Accuracy or any statement of certification
- Formatting that follows the rules of USCIS, UKVI, IRCC, universities, or credential evaluators
- Notarization or an apostille
- The full-refund guarantee for authority rejections, which covers certified translations only
- Design or desktop publishing of complex layouts, which is available on request
Immigration offices, courts, schools, and licensing bodies often ask for a certified translation of birth certificates, marriage certificates, diplomas, transcripts, police records, and similar documents. If you are unsure, read our guide to certified and standard translation, or order the certified translation for USCIS if you are filing in the United States.
If you start with a standard translation and later need a certified one, you can order the certified version of the same document. If you are weighing a machine translation instead, our guide on when AI translation is enough and when it is not explains the risks.
Standard vs Certified Translation
Not sure which one you need? Here is the difference at a glance. The simple rule: if a government, court, or official body will receive it, choose certified. For everything else, standard is faster and more affordable.
| Aspect | Standard Translation | Certified Translation |
|---|---|---|
| Best for | General business & personal use | Official & legal submission |
| Format | Editable (Word, PPT, etc.) | Certified PDF, not edited |
| Style | Localized & natural | Literal & exact |
| Certificate of Accuracy | ✗ Not included | ✓ Included |
| Legal validity | ✗ Not for official use | ✓ Prepared for authorities, with a full refund if rejected |
| Pricing | $0.05 per word | $22.99 per page |
| Turnaround | 24 hours for short texts, 12-hour rush at $10 more per 250 words | 24 hours up to 3 pages, 12-hour rush at $7 more per page |
