Vyvyan Evans

Vyvyan Evans, PhD is a linguistics expert with over 25 years of experience as a university professor, communication strategy specialist, and consultant to organizations including Barclays Bank, Sony Pictures, and Samsung. He holds a PhD in Linguistics from Georgetown University and has served as Professor of Linguistics at Bangor University and the University of Brighton, and as Senior Lecturer at the University of Sussex. He is the author of 17 books, including the best-selling popular science title The Emoji Code, and his writing on language and communication has appeared in The Guardian, Newsweek, and CNN, among others.
